What Can I Expect After a Permanent MakeUp Procedure?
The healing process after a Permanent MakeUp procedure varies from client to client based on many factors. This could include, but is not limited to: the artist's technique, pigments used, aftercare instructions, whether or not shading was done, as well as just overall how someone's body and skin reacts to the procedure. Some of the most common things clients you can expect after a microblading procedure are:
Tenderness in the area
Pink or redness around the affected area
Swelling
Thickening and darkening of the area
Moderate to thick scabbing 3-4 days after the procedure
Scabs will begin to flake off anytime between days 5 - 10
After scabs flake off, pigment color and strokes will look light, grey, and blurry
After the area is fully healed (4 weeks after the procedure) the pigment will return to full color
Am I a good candidate for any Permanent MakeUp procedure?
Unfortunately, not all clients are good candidates for permanent makeup due to the existence of certain contraindicated skin conditions or pre-existing medical conditions. If you have a contraindicated skin condition you may not retain color well and may not be entirely satisfied with your outcome.
Are there any risks?
Every cosmetic skin procedure involves a very small degree of risk and, although exceedingly uncommon, it is important that you understand and accept the rare risks involved with Permanent Cosmetic Makeup- these include possible infection, allergic reaction, improper placement, dissatisfaction with the result, permanency and difficulty of removal. An individual’s informed decision to undergo any cosmetic procedure is based upon a comparison of the risks to potential benefits, alternatives, and cost. Stretch Marks Concealer
How long will the results of the procedure last?
According to our industry, it’ll last 5 years, or more provided that the correct after-care procedures are adhered to. You may or may not need a touch up after 5-6 years. Remember, a stretch mark is a scar and so the skin is trickier to penetrate. In addition, as we age, all tattoos transition and change on our skin because there’s less elasticity and melanin production. This can effect your stretch mark camouflage tattoo, as well.
Will it hurt? Do you numb your clients?
This procedure is a penetrative skin procedure so a small amount of discomfort will be experienced. Usually on a scale 1-10 (10 being most painful), the average consensus is a 4 or 5. We do not numb our clients to avoid any interference to the purity and insertion of pigment into the scar. In addition, your pain receptors will be heightened if you’re on your monthly cycle, and so we suggest you book your session/touch ups accordingly.
How quickly will i see results from my procedure?
On average, it takes 45-60 days, but if you're prone to hyper-pigmentation (you naturally scar dark), it will most likely take longer to heal. During your consultation, we can discuss and assess your skin’s estimated timeline and variables.
How will i look immediately afterwards?
There’s little to no downtime. Most Clients can resume work the same day, It’s normal to experience redness and swelling immediately after the procedure for 1-3 days. For the first 3 days, you’ll be given strict instructions on how to minimize inflammation, speed up the wound healing phase, and how to “ice” the area and keep it clean. Over the next few weeks, the redness will dissipate and go through a variety of shades (from dark to light) until your skin heals. We’ll be in contact with you every step of the way.

Will the pigment used change colors or fade at all?
We use a specially formulated ink that is custom created for Scalp Micropigmentation — it is not tattoo ink. As a result, there is no risk of the color turning blue or green.
Does the end result look like a tattoo?
Although this is a form of tattooing, the process and end result are far different than that of a regular tattoo. Both our technique and our equipment are specifically engineered to create an end result that appears natural.

Usually, the treatments will last approximately 30-60 minutes. The treatment is virtually painless, requires
anesthesia in some cases and there are no cuts or blood.
When we use plasma pen the treatment device itself never touches the skin, the plasma flash creates a tiny dot (carbon crust) upon contact. These superficial dots, which form in a symmetrical grid over the treatment area, are part of the normal healing process and will fall off 5-7 days post treatment. Clients can return to their normal activities right away with minimal discomfort.
When we use plasma induction device we use disposable tools, we injured the skin creating micro channels in the skin, blood might or might not show up during the treatment depend on the area and the problem of skin we working with. The normal healing process will fall of 5 to 7 days post treatment.
How many treatments are required?
Most clients achieve their desired results after just one treatment. However, depending on the area being treated, the skin’s laxity, and individual response to treatment, an additional treatment may be required after 6-8 weeks for maximum results.
How Soon will i see the results?
Most clients will see results instantly, which continue to improve over the course of the following 8 weeks.
How long will the effect of the treatments last for?
The results of the plasma treatment are permanent and may be visible for years. Although, it should be acknowledged that the aging process is continuous, with the skin slowly aging every day, which cannot be stopped. Mimic fine lines (worry lines) may recur quickly because muscles are stronger than skin. Treatments may need to be repeated every 12-18 months to maintain initial results.
